GymDancy

Gymnastics

Dance / Yoga

It's all about movement, music, and fun.

Now you don't need to choose between gymnastics or dance.  We combine them!

Purposely gender-neutral, GymDancy combines gymnastic floor exercises with a variety of beginning dance styles for girls and boys.  We even toss in a little yoga for good measure.

It’s a fun workout that teaches listening skills, self-confidence, and focus while improving balance and strength.

Sessions are available for kids from ages 4 to 10.

The co-ed classes are designed to be incredibly fun and engaging

Kids leap quickly from activity to activity, so it's always entertaining.

Activities range in energy level from self-focusing and calming to highly kinesthetic.

Gymnastics, dance, and yoga share a lot of positive commonalities, so it made sense to us to combine them for children who love physical fun.

Sometimes it's all about perfecting skills.

Sometimes it's all about letting the music carry you away.  Feeling the beat to your core.  Being completely in the here and now.  Connecting with the rhythm of life.  Free expression.

Luckily, we do both.

Our kids learn individual and group skills.

Synchronizing with others brings the thrill of being part of something bigger while confirming ones own independent abilities.

Our combination of physical activities keeps students engaged and smiling.  A growing ability to control one's own body provides kids with a wonderful sense of self-confidence.  We love the moments when kids realize, "Wow!  I can DO that!"

Wonderarium has been designed to perfection.

The floors are padded, wall to wall; firm enough for dance yet soft enough for tumbling.  The balance beams are padded and low.  There's ample room and plenty of supervision.

There's abundant natural light and the overhead lighting is daylight aligned.  Even the room's colors are balanced between energizing and calming.

Importantly, music is played at an ideal volume for young ears.

We don't do stress.

Maybe them...

Definitely us!

A child doesn’t need to have the goal of becoming a professional ballerina in order to love dance or be pressured to aim for Olympic Gold to be a joyful tumbler.

We strive for Personal Best, not career domination; Joy and enthusiasm over absolute perfection.  We'd rather have our students experience a variety of adventures than spend hours upon hours perfecting a Plié.  We appreciate organizations dedicated to building Olympic atheletes and prima ballerinas.  That's just not our purpose.

We also help entire families de-stress.

With today's ultra-busy schedules, GymDancy's combined activities reduce trips from place to place.

Yay!
